SAEDNEWS: Four Chinese nationals died in a helicopter crash in Nepal on Wednesday afternoon, the Chinese Embassy in Nepal has confirmed.
According to SAEDNEWS, Tragedy struck in Nepal's Bagmati province on Wednesday afternoon when a helicopter carrying four Chinese nationals crashed in the Nuwakot district. This unfortunate incident has been confirmed by the Chinese Embassy in Nepal.
"The helicopter belonging to Air Dynasty has crashed. We have found four dead bodies," stated Tilak Bharati, spokesperson for the district police, in comments to Xinhua.
The helicopter was en route from Kathmandu to Syafrubesi in Rasuwa district when it went down in the Shivapuri area of Nuwakot. The Chinese Embassy has verified that all four individuals on board were citizens of China.
According to a statement from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, the helicopter lost contact with the control tower in Kathmandu just three minutes after takeoff, crashing at 13:54 local time.
