SAEDNEWS: Israel Warns Palestinian Residents of SMS Messages Sent from Iranian Numbers
According to Saed News’ political desk, Israeli security and cyber management agencies claimed on Monday that a new wave of suspicious SMS messages from Iranian numbers has begun targeting residents of the occupied Palestinian territories.
The Jerusalem Post reported that many Israelis have received text messages containing political and promotional content.
One of the messages read: “The doors of the embassies of the Islamic Republic of Iran are open to you.”

Israel’s National Cyber Directorate confirmed the reports, describing the messages as “spam” or mass texting. Officials noted that, so far, there is no evidence of phones or accounts being hacked.
However, the agency urged residents of the occupied territories not to respond to the messages. In a statement, it advised recipients to block the sender immediately and avoid sharing or forwarding the messages to prevent the spread of psychological operations.
Israeli authorities said such actions are generally intended for psychological warfare, potential response gathering, or intelligence purposes. In this specific case, however, they stressed that the messages should simply be ignored.
