SAEDNEWS: The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly said: The Islamic Republic is a symbol of Iran’s authority, firmness, power, unity, and the preservation of the nation’s integrity.
According to Saed News Agency, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, said this morning (Thursday, July 23) at the 40th-day memorial ceremony for the Aerospace Martyrs of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps held at the Imam Reza Complex: “This parliament that has been formed is a parliament of remembrance and honor for the martyrs; with the presence of comrades, fellow fighters, and families of the martyrs, without a doubt, this is a session of reminder and recollection, not a session of sorrow and grief.”
He added: “Although we all burn with the pain of losing our loved ones, we have gathered here to make sure we do not forget their memory and do not become negligent.”
Ghalibaf emphasized: “This session is a session of narrating strength; the narrative of martyrdom, steadfastness, and resistance. This session is one of understanding and precision; a session to better recognize the path and move forward more firmly. This is the duty of all of us.”
The Speaker of the Parliament stated: “The reason for the opposition of the United States, Britain, and enemies to the Islamic Republic is clear: because the Islamic Republic is a symbol of Iran’s strength, firmness, power, unity, and the preservation of the nation’s integrity. According to the Supreme Leader’s statement, the homeland and Islam are two sides of the same coin, and the brave nation of Iran stands against separatist enemies.”
