According to SAEDNEWS, Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended an official invitation to Mahmoud Abbas, the chief of the Palestinian Authority, to participate in the upcoming BRICS summit set to take place in Kazan this October. This announcement was made by the Palestinian ambassador to Russia, Abdel Hafiz Nofal, and reported by TASS news agency.
"President Putin has officially invited Mahmoud Abbas to participate in the BRICS summit to be held in Kazan in October," Nofal confirmed, highlighting the importance of this invitation.
In addition to the summit invitation, Nofal mentioned that there are plans for a meeting of the intergovernmental Russian-Palestinian Economic Commission in Moscow, which is scheduled for December. This shows a commitment to strengthening economic ties between Russia and Palestine.
