Iranian FM Spokesman Emphasizes Common Goal of Regional Stability

According to SAEDNEWS, In a recent statement, Ismaeil Baghaei, the spokesman for Iran's Foreign Ministry, highlighted a shared objective among regional nations: "Stopping the heinous crimes and continuous aggression against Gaza and Lebanon and preventing the spread of insecurity and instability in the region is the common goal of all of us."

Baghaei made these remarks on his X account while accompanying Foreign Minister Abbass Araghchi on a visit to Cairo, Egypt, on Thursday. He noted that Araghchi had a "very useful conversation" with the Egyptian president regarding important regional developments.

In his post, Baghaei emphasized the urgent need to halt the aggression and violence occurring in Gaza and Lebanon. He warned that failure to do so could lead to a dangerous escalation of insecurity that might drag the entire region into war, causing destructive consequences for all countries involved. He also stressed the necessity of providing immediate humanitarian aid to the affected refugees.

Additionally, Araghchi met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, where they discussed various bilateral concerns, regional matters, and the importance of strengthening consultation and coordination among Islamic nations and other influential groups. This collaborative effort aims to end the aggression and serious violations of international human rights perpetrated by the Zionist regime in both Gaza and Lebanon.

Baghaei reiterated, "Stopping the heinous crimes and continuous aggression against Gaza and Lebanon and preventing the spread of insecurity and instability in the region is the common goal of all of us."
