SAEDNEWS:Iran’s Acting Foreign Minister says has held a phone call with the Chinese foreign minister to discuss the latest regional developments, including the Israeli move in escalating regional tension.

According to SAEDNEWS, In a recent development highlighting the complexities of Middle Eastern geopolitics, Iran’s Acting Foreign Minister, Ali Bagheri Kani, revealed that he had a significant phone conversation with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. The discussion focused on the latest regional developments, specifically addressing Israel's escalating actions that threaten to heighten tensions across the region.

In a post shared on his X account, Kani articulated the gravity of their discussion, stating, “In a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of China Wang Yi regarding the latest regional developments including the actions of child-killing and criminal Zionist regime to spread the tension beyond Gaza through its recent dangerous moves in Lebanon, Yemen and the assassination of the ex-Chief of Political Bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, Martyr Ismail Haniyeh.” This comment underscores the urgent concern Iran feels regarding the regional impact of Israeli military actions.

Kani further asserted Iran's position by emphasizing, “I emphasized Iran's legitimate right to respond appropriately to ensure the stability and security of the region.” This assertion reflects Iran's determination to safeguard its interests while simultaneously addressing broader regional stability.

An important outcome of the conversation was the mutual agreement between both foreign ministers on the need for a strong condemnation of the ongoing aggressions. They agreed on the necessity for a collective international effort to halt the Israeli regime's aggression and to push for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
