Constructed in just 15 months, the factory is located in the Chabahar Free Zone and spans an impressive 23,000 square meters. It is staffed with highly skilled domestic workers who will manage the complete process of sorting, peeling, packing, and freezing fish and shrimp for both domestic and international markets.
According to Brigadier General Nasirzadeh, the factory has a packaging capacity of about 4,000 tons. Moa’llem also shared that Chabahar sees an annual catch of 200,000 tons of fish, most of which is processed as tuna for consumers.
