According to SAEDNEWS, In a recent phone conversation, the foreign ministers of Iran and Mexico highlighted the need to keep political discussions going between the two countries.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi spoke with Mexican Foreign Minister Alicia Bárcena on Tuesday. During their call, Bárcena congratulated Araghchi on his new role as Iran's top diplomat and expressed her best wishes for his success.
Bárcena also shared her hope that Tehran and Mexico City would continue their political dialogues and consultations. She underscored Mexico's support for the Palestinian people, stating that the country advocates for a ceasefire and believes it is crucial to stop the violence and bloodshed in Gaza.
In response, Araghchi thanked Bárcena for her kind words and stressed the importance of fostering bilateral relations between Iran and Mexico. He echoed the call for ongoing political discussions between the two friendly nations.
Regarding the situation in Palestine, Araghchi expressed Iran's support for any ceasefire agreement that the Palestinian people and their resistance groups can accept. The conversation showcases the commitment of both Iran and Mexico to strengthen their political ties and address pressing global issues together.
