200 grams of ground beef
4 potatoes
1 onion
2 eggs
Enough cooking oil
4 tablespoons of white flour
4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
Salt, black pepper, and turmeric to taste
Prepare the Potatoes: If the potatoes are dirty, wash them thoroughly. Place the potatoes in a pot, cover with water, and boil them over medium heat until cooked.
Prepare the Meat Mixture: Peel and finely chop the onion. In a pan, heat some oil over low heat and sauté the onion until soft. Add salt, black pepper, and turmeric to the onion, and continue sautéing. Add the ground beef and sauté until the meat changes color and is slightly fried. Turn off the heat but keep stirring to prevent the meat from burning.
Combine Ingredients: Once the potatoes are boiled, let them cool, then peel and mash them. Add the beef mixture to the mashed potatoes and knead until well combined.
Shape the Nuggets: Shape the mixture into desired nugget sizes, place them on a plastic-lined tray, and freeze for 30 minutes.
Coat and Fry the Nuggets: In a deep pan, heat enough oil to cover the nuggets over low heat. Take the nuggets out of the freezer. Beat the eggs in a bowl. Coat each nugget in white flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat in breadcrumbs. Fry the nuggets in hot oil over low heat until fully cooked and golden brown.
Serve: Arrange the fried nuggets on a serving dish and serve with ketchup. Enjoy your meal!
Potato nuggets look similar to potato patties but have a unique taste. Vegetarians can enjoy potato and vegetable nuggets as part of their diet.
