SAEDNEWS: The Telegram channel of Ayatollah Alamolhoda, Friday Prayer Leader of Mashhad, quoted his Friday sermon saying: “When the people’s hearts turned toward the martyred president, Ayatollah Raisi, for his resistance to the enemy, he was unfortunately assassinated in a treacherous act.”
According to the Political Desk of Saed News Agency, Khabar Online reported that the Telegram channel of Ayatollah Ahmad Alamolhoda, the Friday prayer leader of Mashhad, published a statement claiming that when the hearts of the Iranian people turned toward the martyred president, Ayatollah Ebrahim Raisi, because of his resistance and steadfastness against the enemy, he was “unfortunately assassinated through a treacherous act.” The statement adds that a recently published book has explained the details of this “assassination of the martyr of service” in detail.
The post further claims that today, the enemies have sent their agents to regions such as South Khorasan—described as a center of love and devotion to the martyred president—to insult him and engage in smear campaigns in order to undermine his popularity. This, the statement says, is the same policy of the enemy aimed at breaking the “qibla of hearts,” a metaphor for public devotion.
The book titled The Scent of Death has recently been published by an Israeli writer named Isaac Goldstein. According to Khabar Online’s review, the book challenges the official narrative of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the helicopter crash that killed Ebrahim Raisi and his companions in East Azerbaijan Province. The author claims that “in the silent corridors of Mossad headquarters in Tel Aviv,” a different calculation was underway, and that Raisi’s death bore “subtle traces of an active operation”—one allegedly designed to appear as a natural accident or mere bad luck.
