SAEDNEWS: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Secretary of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations Jalal Dehqani Firouzabadi held talks on regional and international trends as well as Iran’s foreign policy developments.
In a meeting with the Iranian foreign minister in Tehran on Wednesday, Dehqani Firouzabadi outlined the intellectual and institutional capacities of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations to help advance Iran’s diplomatic objectives.
He also announced the council’s readiness to enhance interactions and cooperation with the Foreign Ministry.
Referring to his experience of cooperation with the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, Foreign Minister Araqchi stressed the importance of making use of the council’s valuable capacities as a think tank and consultative body in the field of the country’s foreign policy. He also declared the Foreign Ministry’s full readiness to cooperate with the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations.
The two sides also exchanged views on prevailing regional and international trends, as well as developments related to Iran’s foreign policy.
