SAEDNEWS: 15-Year-Old with OCD Who Started by Washing Family Cars Now Counts Molly-Mae Hague, Scott McTominay, Tommy Fury and Gary Neville Among His Clients
According to Saed News and as reported by Fararu, a 15-year-old teenager from Manchester in northern England, who due to obsessive-compulsive disorder cannot stop washing and cleaning, has turned his passion for car washing into a successful business with a list of famous clients.
Two years ago, doctors diagnosed Zikya with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). His family, in order to encourage him to spend more time outside the home, bought him a car wash equipment kit as a Christmas gift.
At first, the teenager washed the cars of family members and friends, but now his clients include influencer Molly-Mae Hague, footballer Scott McTominay, boxing star Tommy Fury, and football analyst Gary Neville.
His mother told the BBC that he has loved vacuum cleaners and cleaning tools since childhood.

OCD is a common mental health disorder that causes intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors. It can affect people of all ages, but usually begins in early adulthood. It can be distressing and significantly disrupt daily life, although treatment can help manage it.
A spokesperson for an OCD support organization in the UK said they are pleased that Zikya has used his diagnosis as a catalyst to start a successful business. However, they emphasized that for most people living with OCD, it is a debilitating condition that can cause severe distress. They also noted that with proper treatment and support, OCD can improve, and encouraged everyone to seek help and support when needed.
