SAEDNEWS: Roasted potatoes are one of the most popular international dishes. You only need to try them once to become a regular fan instead of fried potatoes.
According to a cooking report from Saed News, roasted potatoes are an international side dish or appetizer that is popular worldwide. They are considered a great option when you don’t have enough time to prepare fried potatoes and want a healthier and more unique way to enjoy them. Roasted potatoes can be easily prepared at home using just a few simple ingredients. Some people prefer them plain and healthy, while others prepare them with mushrooms, cheese, or various vegetables according to taste.
2 medium potatoes
4 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt (to taste)
Chopped parsley (for garnish)
Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F). Wash the potatoes thoroughly. Insert a wooden skewer into each potato.
Using a sharp knife, make diagonal spiral cuts around the potatoes.
Gently pull the potatoes so they open into a spiral shape without breaking.
Brush melted butter over the entire surface of the potatoes.
In a bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
Place the skewered potatoes over the bowl and sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over them.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the potatoes on it.
Bake for 20–25 minutes until the potatoes become crispy and golden.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Heat a pan and melt 100 grams of butter.
Add 3 grated garlic cloves and sauté until fragrant.
Add 1 tablespoon flour and stir until the raw smell disappears (do not let it brown).
Gradually add 150 ml chicken stock, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
Once it starts boiling, add 200 ml heavy cream, 30 grams grated Parmesan cheese, and 1 tablespoon grated orange zest.
Stir continuously until the sauce gently simmers.
Remove from heat, taste, and adjust with salt and pepper if needed.
Serve the roasted potatoes with the prepared sauce and enjoy.
