According to the Science and Technology Service of Saed News, citing the Wall Street Journal, the United States government employed artificial intelligence tools from San Francisco-based company Anthropic in its attacks on Iran. The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) in the Middle East used Anthropic’s tools to analyze intelligence, identify targets, and simulate battle scenarios during these operations.
Anthropic PBC, founded in 2021, is an American AI company. While its name may not be widely known, its products—such as the cloud-based AI Claude—are designed with safety and controllability in mind and have a broad range of applications among the general public.
