SAENDEWS: A member of Iran’s Parliament Committee on Councils said that any country that assists the United States is considered a legitimate military target.
According to Saednews, Referring to General Asim Munir’s visit last week, Bagheri said the Pakistani army chief had announced during a meeting with Major General Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, that senior officials from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan had decided to travel to Tehran for talks with Iran’s top security official and to hold a joint meeting.
He emphasized that the visit aims to consult with Major General Mohsen Rezaei on regional security issues.
Bagheri said the meeting would be attended by Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman, Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir, and Ibrahim Kalin, head of Turkey’s intelligence agency.
He praised the Iranian nation and armed forces for their achievements in confronting what he described as US-Israeli aggression, saying their adversaries had failed to achieve their objectives.
Iran’s defense strategy, based on domestic capabilities, has become a successful model for strengthening national security. At the same time, Iran’s strategic policy is to safeguard regional security through cooperation among regional countries and oppose all forms of foreign interference and infiltration, particularly by the United States and Israel.
Bagheri described the involvement of what he called the illegitimate Zionist regime in any capacity in West Asia as harmful to the region’s security and stability.
He added that the three visiting countries, together with Iran, could take an effective step toward establishing regional security based on local capabilities and cooperation among regional actors, drawing on Iran’s experience in strengthening national security.
