Iran’s Top Military Commander Says US Forces Cannot Enter the Persian Gulf

According to Saednews, Major General Abdollahi, pointing to successive defeats suffered by the US military in West Asia, said Iran’s Armed Forces had rendered the US Navy ineffective, despite Washington’s use of its naval forces as a symbol of American power and a means of threatening the region and the world.

The senior commander stated that the US Navy had lost its ability to approach the Persian Gulf and Iran’s territorial waters.

“The US president should only dream of his military personnel and armed forces entering the Persian Gulf again,” Abdollahi said, adding that Americans would “take this wish to their graves forever.”

He stressed that Iran would never allow US military vessels to enter the Persian Gulf under any circumstances.

Abdollahi also challenged Washington’s claims that it had destroyed Iran’s military capabilities, questioning why American forces and vessels had not dared to approach the Strait of Hormuz or Iran’s maritime and land borders if they were genuinely confident that the country’s military capabilities had been eliminated.

Describing US warships as “rusty” and American military personnel as “cowardly,” the Iranian commander argued that their reluctance to approach Iran’s borders contradicted Washington’s claims.

He added that Iran’s leadership, people, Armed Forces and officials remained determined to ensure that the United States and its “illegitimate offspring,” the Israeli regime, along with their “cowardly and aggressor armies,” sank ever deeper into the quagmire they had created themselves.
