According to Saednews, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said he hosted Germany’s new Ambassador to Iran, Alex Dittmann, for talks on the latest developments in international relations.
“Today, I hosted the new German Ambassador to Iran, Mr. Alex Dittmann, and we held a frank and productive discussion on current trends in international relations,” Baghaei wrote on X.
He added that addressing threats and challenges that undermine the rule of law and endanger international peace and security is a shared responsibility that requires vision, courage and cooperation.
The meeting comes as international developments continue to raise concerns over global security, the rules-based international order and the need for greater diplomatic engagement.
