SAEDNEWS: Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei said European countries that allowed their territory or facilities to be used by aggressors must be held accountable, calling it participation in aggression against an independent UN member state.
According to Saednews, Baqaei said the foreign minister’s meeting with ambassadors, heads of diplomatic missions, and representatives of international organizations in Tehran was held after Iran’s delegation returned from the UN General Assembly’s annual session in New York. Such meetings are customary following major international events and are intended to brief Tehran-based diplomats on Iran’s positions and the main issues discussed during the visit.
He said one of the meeting’s key topics was Iran’s explicit demands directed at European capitals. According to Baqaei, the NATO secretary general has repeatedly acknowledged that territory, facilities, and military bases in European countries were used in preparations for and the execution of attacks by the United States and Israel against Iran.
Baqaei added that these developments would remain part of the historical record, saying they highlighted Iran’s resistance in the face of two military campaigns and the countries that supported them.
