According to Saednews, Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said he and Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir held a “very positive and productive” meeting with Iran’s president.

The talks focused on the Iran-US conflict, rising tensions in the Middle East, and possible steps toward restoring the Islamabad MoU and achieving a comprehensive settlement.

Naqvi said the Iranian president openly shared his government’s concerns and perspective, leading to a constructive exchange. He described the meeting as a significant step forward and expressed hope that the progress would contribute to further diplomatic efforts and lasting peace in the region.
