SAEDNEWS: Referring to the war with Iran, Donald Trump said he believes the conflict will come to an end very soon.
According to Saed News’ political service, the U.S. president said he believes the war with Iran will end very soon. He claimed, “I don’t think the Iranians can continue for much longer.”
Trump also said that despite the naval blockade, the Iranians are capable of laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz. In response to a reporter’s question about whether an agreement had been reached to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, Trump claimed, “I don’t want to say that such an agreement has been reached, but it appears that the Strait is open right now. We have control of the Strait.”
The U.S. president continued his claims, saying, “I am involved in negotiations with Iran, and an agreement could be reached soon.”
Asked whether he had told his financial supporters to back J.D. Vance in the next election, Trump said, “No. J.D. Vance is excellent, but it is far too early for that.”
In another part of his remarks, the U.S. president said, “We have a very large stockpile of ammunition.” He claimed, “We currently have control of the Strait of Hormuz and have imposed a naval blockade led by the U.S. Navy.”
Responding to a question about media reports suggesting that U.S. weapons stockpiles were declining, Trump claimed, “We always need more ammunition.” He also said that the previous U.S. administration under Joe Biden had provided large quantities of weapons to Ukraine.
