SAEDNEWS: The IRGC thanked Jordan's people and military for their cooperation in targeting U.S. forces in the Arab country.
According to Saednews, The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) released a statement early Monday claiming responsibility for attacks on U.S. military assets in Jordan and alleging that assistance from people and military personnel in Jordan contributed to the operation.
According to the statement, the IRGC claimed its forces targeted U.S. military facilities, including shelters at Al-Azraq Air Base, resulting in the destruction of infrastructure and casualties among U.S. personnel. These claims have not been independently verified.
The statement also asserted that, during what it described as the 21st phase of "Operation Nasr-2," IRGC Aerospace Force units used ballistic missiles to strike aircraft at Aqaba Airport, including C-17 transport planes and P-8 surveillance aircraft, claiming significant damage. No independent confirmation of these claims has been provided.
The IRGC statement included strong ideological and religious rhetoric directed against the United States and Israel, accusing the U.S. military of involvement in conflicts across the Middle East and expressing support for what it described as the liberation of Jerusalem (Al-Quds). The statement further accused the United States of carrying out airstrikes on Iran, violating a war-termination agreement, imposing a blockade on Iranian ports, and targeting civilian infrastructure. It claimed these actions resulted in civilian casualties.
