SAEDNEWS: Ebrahim Azizi, Chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security Commission, said in an interview with RIA Novosti that Iran’s control measures and arrangements in the Strait of Hormuz are permanent in nature and are by no means temporary.
According to Saed News political desk, Ebrahim Azizi, chairman of the National Security Commission of Iran’s Parliament, told RIA Novosti that the United States must reconsider its behavior; otherwise, no meaningful progress will be achieved in negotiations.
He stated that the United States has repeatedly failed to honor its commitments and that current tensions are the result of American actions. Azizi added that Iran is currently pursuing what he described as the “smart management” of the Strait of Hormuz.
Azizi further emphasized that Iran’s control measures and arrangements in the Strait of Hormuz are permanent in nature and not temporary. He also said that Iran has no intention of transferring its enriched uranium to a third country or intermediary, adding that it is unclear where such ideas originate.
