Saed News: According to reports, the shepherd who had exposed the location of an Israeli secret base in Iraq was killed yesterday.
According to SAEDNEWS, an American newspaper reported that the Israeli regime had established a secret base in the desert areas of Iraq prior to the war with Iran.
This hidden base came dangerously close to being exposed in early March (March 2025). According to Iraqi sources and a report by The Wall Street Journal, an Iraqi shepherd noticed unusual nighttime helicopter movements in a remote desert area in Iraq and reported the matter to security authorities. The Iraqi army immediately dispatched a patrol to inspect the area.
However, before these forces could approach the Israeli base, Israeli fighter jets attacked them in order to keep the location of the base hidden. Iraqi officials confirmed that in this airstrike, one Iraqi soldier was killed and two others were injured. After the incident, the Iraqi army stated that the target of the attack was “an unknown armed group,” but the new report indicates that the real goal was to prevent the exposure of the Israeli base.
According to Maariv, the Iraqi government at the time condemned the attack, which resulted in the death of an Iraqi soldier. However, the Israeli army refused to comment on the report. Al-Muhammadawi also told Iraqi state media at the time that the operation was reckless and carried out without coordination or approval.
Now it has been reported that the shepherd who revealed the location of the Israeli secret base in Iraq was killed yesterday.
