According to the political desk of Saed News, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, referred to the recent incident involving the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln. He wrote: “All the noise made over the Abraham Lincoln was meant to pressure us, but this so-called ‘bride’ left the battlefield and retreated at its first encounter with Iranian missiles and drones.”
The parliamentary chief emphasized: “A vessel that was supposed to defend the security and stability of America’s allies cannot even defend itself against a few drones and flees!”
Using the hashtag “#FirstIsrael,” Qalibaf added: “It is essential for U.S. allies and media to investigate this matter so that the safety of their soldiers is not tied to the lies of Trump and Netanyahu.”
