SAEDNEWS: The Iranian military forces, particularly the Air Force, are in a high state of readiness to deliver a firm response to any new hostile move by enemies, Commander of the Iranian Army Major General Amir Hatami said.
According to SAEDNEWS, In comments on the sidelines of a meeting with Air Force commanders, held in Tehran on Sunday, Major General Hatami said the Air Force has made full use of the valuable experiences gained during the 12-day war in June 2025 and wasted no time in applying those lessons.
As a result, the Air Force has now achieved a strong level of preparedness commensurate with current threats and conditions, he added.
Warning adversaries, the Army commander expressed hope that enemies would not commit a new mistake, but stressed that if they do, the Air Force will certainly play a major role in responding to them.
Asked about the presence of US naval vessels in the region, General Hatami said this is not a new development, recalling that since the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Iran has repeatedly witnessed the presence of American enemy ships and units. He added that the current situation is simply another instance of the same pattern.
The general stated that the duty of Iran’s Armed Forces is to maintain readiness, closely monitor all enemy movements, and remain fully prepared to respond decisively, adding that this preparedness is already in place.
