The “Spider Girl” Who Has Two Extra Pairs Of Arms And Legs

According to SAEDNEWS, citing Bitotah website, a video of a two-and-a-half-year-old girl being held in a woman’s arms has been circulated, showing the child’s extra limbs. The girl, from a village in India’s Bihar state, is reportedly able to stand on her normal legs and fully use her natural arms. However, her extra arms and legs appear to be immobile and protrude from her abdomen. In the video, the girl is wearing a yellow dress and appears distressed. The footage shows that the extra limbs are attached to the middle of her body, emerging from her stomach.

The girl’s family is now asking people for help to raise enough money for surgery. They say the extra limbs are affecting their daughter’s quality of life. The family of India’s “Spider Girl” has also requested local authorities to intervene and help solve the issue.

It is also reported that the family’s 11-year-old son was born with a form of disability. Similar cases of babies born with extra limbs have been seen in India before. In 2015, a baby boy was born with eight limbs—four arms and four legs—believed to be the result of a congenital defect, in fact due to an undeveloped twin attached to him. After his birth, worshippers in a small Indian town gathered to celebrate, believing the child was an incarnation of the Hindu god Ganesha.

In 2019, another woman in India gave birth to a baby girl with three arms and four legs attached to her abdomen and chest. Doctors believed she was originally part of triplets, with two siblings fused to her. The baby girl was born alongside a healthy baby boy.
