Saed News: In a horrific incident during temple festivities in the Indian state of Kerala, one person was killed following an attack by a wild elephant.
According to SAEDNEWS, during this incident at a temple, when the elephant was being taken to be watered, it suddenly showed violent behavior and grabbed the truck driver who had brought it to the location with its trunk, trampled him, and attacked him several times, resulting in his immediate death. In this incident, the elephant handler was also severely injured while trying to control the animal and is currently hospitalized in the intensive care unit. The enraged elephant also overturned a car and destroyed several motorcycles in the temple area. After about four hours of chaos, a special elephant response team from the forestry department managed to subdue the animal using a tranquilizer.
