Eygel Village is a charming village near Tehran, part of the Rudbar-e Qasran area. More specifically, it is located in the Shemiranat County, within the Oushan region. It’s worth noting that the western edge of Oushan is about 4 kilometers from the village.

Accessing Eygel Village is relatively straightforward. First, head to Lashgarak Road in northern Tehran. You can reach Lashgarak Road via Babaei Highway or Tehranpars. Drive north along Lashgarak Road.
Upon reaching the first square, turn east. Shortly after, you will reach a three-way junction—take the left path toward Fasham Road. Follow Fasham Road toward Oushan. Along the Oushan route, you will pass Ahar Village. Just before Ahar, a sign for Eygel Village will guide you to your destination.
Eygel Village boasts a long and rich history, making it one of the oldest villages in the Lavasan area. Its original name was “Ogel,” which combines the words for “water” and “mud.” The region’s mountainous and summer-resort climate historically attracted various kings, including Qajar rulers. Eygel was among Naser al-Din Shah’s favorite destinations.
