SAEDNEWS: An Indian citizen has earned over one million dollars by recycling cigarette butts.
According to the Society Service of Saed News, Good News Network reported that a 26-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh, India, came up with an idea after seeing a pile of discarded cigarette butts on a street corner—a concept that has so far earned him one million dollars.
The man, named Naman Gupta, succeeded in recycling cigarette butts to create polyfill (the stuffing used in fabric dolls) for toys and keychains, while also producing organic fertilizer from the remaining cigarette residue.
According to the report, he now runs a waste recycling company, and collection bins for cigarette butts from his company have been installed in various cities across India.

Naman recounts that since 2016, he has earned over one million dollars by recycling three million cigarette butts, which amount to more than 100,000 kilograms of waste. However, his passion for this work is driven less by income and more by the desire to find a solution to an environmental problem.
