SAEDNEWS: Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud called on the international community to pursue a “diplomatic track” to address Iran’s nuclear program during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly.

Prince Faisal reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s unwavering commitment to regional stability, emphasizing respect for national sovereignty, good neighborly relations, and proactive efforts to reduce tensions across the Middle East.

He underlined the right of all countries to pursue peaceful nuclear energy in line with international law, signaling Saudi Arabia’s dedication to balanced and lawful development.

Addressing the situation in Gaza, Prince Faisal called for decisive international action to halt “Israeli aggression,” warning of serious consequences if violations continue. He stressed that inaction by the global community could worsen regional instability and lead to further violations of international law.

The Saudi minister condemned the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, describing it as a direct breach of international norms. He highlighted the “brutal and unchecked practices of the occupying forces,” including starvation, forced displacement, and systematic killings, which flagrantly disregard the rights of the Palestinian people.
