SAEDNEWS: An Iraqi parliamentarian emphasized the urgent need to resolve the ‘black box’ case as the country prepares to repatriate terrorists from Syria, highlighting growing security and political concerns in Iraq.
According to Al-Malooma, Mukhtar Al-Moussawi, a member of the Iraqi Parliament, emphasized that Iraq’s success in bringing back ISIS terrorists from Syria for trial is a major milestone.
“These militants hold critical information about the locations of mass graves, which could help identify victims and unlock the details of these cases, acting like a ‘black box’ for justice,” he said.
Al-Moussawi also noted that the fate of 70% of missing persons in areas liberated from ISIS in Iraq remains unknown.
Iraq’s intelligence service reported that 47 French ISIS fighters have been transferred from Syria to Iraq to face prosecution, highlighting Baghdad’s ongoing efforts to pursue justice and accountability.
