According to the history service of Saed News, citing Shamsé, the art and craft of photography entered Iran in the late period of Mohammad Shah Qajar and experienced growth and development thanks to the comprehensive support of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar. The Shah’s support for photography led to the introduction of photographers into the royal court and harem, which for many years sparked the curiosity of the public. A large number of people who had never seen the Shah and imagined him as a superior, almost mythical figure, upon seeing his photographs, ended their fantasies, while some even regarded him as their equal.
