According to the Society News Service of Saed News and as reported by Fararu, researchers in Egypt have unveiled the mummified body of Tutankhamun to the public after nine years of restoring his tomb.

Around a decade ago, researchers began their work in the tomb of Tutankhamun, the 11th pharaoh of ancient Egypt. After completing the restoration, they finally put his mummified body on display.

The mummified body of Tutankhamun, who died at the age of 18, was preserved using linen fabrics. In the published images, the head, face, and part of the legs of the young Egyptian pharaoh are visible.

His body has been placed in an oxygen-free glass chamber, and tourists can observe it from a slight distance.

Tutankhamun is recognized as the 15th pharaoh of ancient Egypt from the 18th dynasty, also known as the New Kingdom.

His tomb was discovered in 1922 in the Valley of the Kings by Howard Carter, largely intact. His burial site is considered one of the most significant archaeological discoveries of the 20th century.

Tutankhamun is known as the ruler who restored the ancient Egyptian religion of Amunism after the brief period of Atenism. He ascended to the throne at the age of nine.

His story has also been mentioned in the book The Egyptian (Sinuhe, the Egyptian).
