SAEDNEWS: Syrian news outlets reported another act of aggression by the Israeli regime against sovereign Syrian territory in the country’s south.

Israel Launches New Attack on Syria’s Quneitra Province

According to the reports, over the past 24 hours, 25 Israeli military vehicles, including armored units, entered several towns and villages in Quneitra Province in southwestern Syria.

Witnesses confirmed that armored vehicles and two tanks breached the area near the village of Rouhina in central Quneitra.

The attacks extended to the Breqa–Kodna road, the village of al-Halabi, and the town of al-Rafid.

On Wednesday, Syrian sources had also reported that a convoy of 10 Israeli armored vehicles moved through the route connecting the villages of Ain al-Nourieh and Khan Arnabeh into northern Quneitra.

The convoy reportedly stationed itself in an abandoned military camp while reconnaissance aircraft flew overhead.

Another patrol of four vehicles entered Tal Kroum in central Quneitra.

Since the early days of the Syrian government’s destabilization, the occupying Israeli regime has expanded its illegal presence in the occupied Golan Heights, advancing towards seizing Quneitra Province in Syria’s southwest.

While the Israeli military has claimed these incursions are temporary measures for its so-called security, evidence on the ground shows the regime’s clear intent to entrench its occupation of Syria — mirroring its decades-long theft of Palestinian land.
