According to the History Service of Saed News, as reported by Egypt’s “ON TV” network, in a new section of the Grand Egyptian Museum dedicated to showcasing the ornamental art of ancient Egyptians, visitors encounter a vivid display of the craftsmanship and creativity of ancient Egyptian artisans. Necklaces, rings, and pendants, adorned with intricate goldwork and rich symbolism, are now presented in a modern setting. In this exhibition, advanced lighting technology and detailed restoration have brought back to life jewelry pieces that had been preserved in storage for years and are now being permanently displayed to the public for the first time. This part of the museum, while serving as a testament to a civilization thousands of years old, offers visitors a tangible connection between the art of ancient Egypt and the contemporary audience. The Grand Egyptian Museum opened its doors to visitors on Sunday, November 2.
