SAEDNEWS: Following Netanyahu's announcement of a full Gaza occupation plan, widespread protests have erupted in Israel, with demonstrators calling for an end to the war and the prime minister’s removal. Protesters warn the occupation will bring devastating military and financial consequences.
According to Saed News, following the Israeli prime minister’s announcement of a plan to fully occupy Gaza, many Zionists took to the streets in protest, demanding an end to the war and the removal of Benjamin Netanyahu.
One opposition activist, referring to the new decision by the regime’s war-driven cabinet, stated:
“We must remove him from power as soon as possible; he’s prepared to sacrifice more soldiers for his own ambitions.”
Protesters have warned that the occupation of Gaza, in addition to the human cost for military personnel, will impose billions of shekels in financial burden on settlers. According to them, a continued military presence in the Gaza Strip will only exacerbate the crisis.
Official elections are scheduled to take place by 27 October 2026. However, early elections remain possible if Netanyahu’s political coalition collapses.
