SAEDNEWS: A newly released image shows Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in thoughtful repose on a cold, snowy day—prompting the question: “What are you pondering? Love is here, and God is here, too.”
According to Saed News, the following photograph captures Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei (born 1939), the second Leader of the Islamic Republic and a Shia marjaʿ, standing in quiet contemplation amidst a winter landscape. On this cold, snowy day, his gaze seems fixed as if immersed in profound thought.
Prior to his appointment as Leader in 1989, Ayatollah Khamenei served two terms as President of Iran and represented the people in the Islamic Consultative Assembly. He was also appointed Friday Prayer Imam of Tehran by Imam Khomeini, a position of significant religious authority. Recognized as one of the most influential clerics in the Islamic Revolution, his roles have spanned both the political and spiritual spheres of the nation.
