SAEDNEWS: Aboard Air Force One, U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that Iran has flatly refused to suspend its uranium enrichment program and continues to deny access to its nuclear facilities — a revelation that could reshape Washington’s next move in the region.
According to Saed News, Reuters reported that during an in-flight press briefing, President Trump stated Iran has not agreed to halt uranium enrichment nor has it consented to international inspections of its nuclear infrastructure — two key demands Washington insists are non-negotiable.
“Iran’s nuclear program has suffered a serious blow,” Trump told reporters, referring to recent U.S. military strikes. “But it hasn’t been completely wiped out.”
His remarks come in the wake of leaked U.S. intelligence reports, recently published in American media, indicating that Iran’s nuclear sites sustained considerable damage from precision strikes by the U.S. military. Still, the President emphasized that Tehran’s capabilities haven’t been fully neutralized.
Trump added that he will be discussing the Iran issue in depth with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during their meeting next Monday at the White House — a session expected to carry major geopolitical weight as tensions escalate.
With Iran digging in and Washington preparing for possible next steps, the standoff over Tehran’s nuclear ambitions is once again taking center stage on the global stage.
