According to Saed News, Iran’s First Vice President, Hamidreza Aref, has expressed deep condolences over the killing of Dr. Nahid Ansari, the sister of Dr. Farzaneh Ansari, head of Iran’s National Standards Organization, who was killed in a recent Israeli strike. In a message addressed to Dr. Farzaneh Ansari, Aref described the attack as part of an ongoing pattern of Israeli aggression that targets not only military sites but also civilians, including women and children.

"The illegitimate, child-killing Zionist regime continues its acts of barbarity without sparing even the women of our nation," Aref wrote. "In its latest brutal onslaught, Dr. Nahid Ansari — your esteemed sister — was martyred."

Aref extended his sympathies to the family and paid tribute to the character and legacy of the late Dr. Nahid Ansari, describing her as a "learned and noble woman." He prayed for divine mercy for the martyr and for patience and strength for her bereaved family.

Emphasizing Iran’s stance on resistance, Aref warned that “the pure blood of our martyrs will not go unanswered. The Zionist regime and its supporters will pay a heavy price for their crimes.”

The death of Dr. Nahid Ansari is the latest in a series of civilian casualties resulting from the widening conflict in the region. Iranian officials have increasingly pointed to what they describe as targeted assassinations and acts of terrorism perpetrated by Israel as part of a broader campaign of destabilization.
