SAEDNEWS: Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov says that currently, there is no talk about the possibility of holding a summit in the format of a trilateral meeting between Russia, Ukraine, and the United States
Russia has dismissed any possibility of a trilateral summit involving Moscow, Kiev, and Washington unless Ukraine provides what it calls a “reasonable” response to its proposals, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told TASS.
Ryabkov pointed out that President Vladimir Putin has already made clear “everything necessary regarding contacts with Zelensky.” He stressed that until Ukraine shows a “healthy, sober, and reasonable” reaction to Russia’s signals, there is no justification for discussing a trilateral meeting format with the U.S.
The statement underscores Moscow’s stance that dialogue depends squarely on Kiev’s readiness to engage with Russia’s conditions—leaving little room, for now, for broader international mediation.
