SAEDNEWS: Venezuelan Foreign Minister Iván Gil Pinto met with Iran’s Ambassador Ali Chegeni, emphasizing renewed strategic partnership, solidarity against external threats, and commitment to advancing multipolar diplomacy.
Iván Gil Pinto, Venezuela’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, wrote regarding this meeting:
“We held a meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Venezuela, Ali Chegeni, with the aim of reaffirming our strategic alliance as well as our friendship and joint cooperation in the defense of sovereignty, development, and a multipolar world.”
According to Saed News, in this meeting, “we received the message of solidarity from the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the face of threats against peace and security in Venezuela and the entire Caribbean and Latin America region.”
“In this regard, we expressed our mutual trust and we believe that our bilateral cooperation and our activities in multilateral forums will continue to be strengthened, relying on the diplomacy of peace.”
