SAEDNEWS: Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, traveled to the state of New York, USA, at the head of a high-ranking delegation in order to attend the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to the politics desk of SaeedNews analytical news outlet, Masoud Pezeshkian traveled to New York last year to participate in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly and to explain the positions of the Islamic Republic regarding international issues. At John F. Kennedy Airport, he was welcomed by Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Majid Takht-Ravanchi and Kazem Gharibabadi, Deputy Ministers for Political, Legal, and International Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Amir-Saeed Iravani, Iran’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Zahra Ershadi, Deputy Representative of Iran at the United Nations, and a number of diplomats of the Islamic Republic of Iran at this international institution.
