SAEDNEWS: Iran’s Foreign Ministry said Netanyahu’s admission of pursuing a “Greater Israel” proves Tel Aviv’s expansionist ambitions threaten the region, warning that failure to contain this policy could lead to endless wars.
According to Saed News citing IRNA, In response to an IRNA question that stated: “While the United States sought to create the illusion among regional countries that by joining the so-called ‘Abraham Accords’ stability could be established in the region, which led some countries to join this plan, today we are witnessing the admission of the Israeli regime’s prime minister regarding the broader scheme of this regime to shape a ‘Greater Israel.’ Has regional convergence and cooperation begun to confront this expansionist plan of the Zionist regime?”
the Foreign Ministry spokesperson said:
“The reality is that for the countries of the region, more than ever before, the domineering and expansionist nature of the Zionist regime has become clear. The statements of this regime’s prime minister—that he sees himself as tasked with realizing the idea of ‘Greater Israel,’ and that this project, from their perspective, includes a significant portion of Arab and Islamic lands—demonstrate that the Zionist regime recognizes no limits in its expansionism.”
He continued:
“This comes despite the optimism—or illusions—that existed, suggesting that through initiatives like the Abraham Accords, some form of peaceful coexistence could be achieved between the Zionist regime and regional states. Today, however, we see that even at that very time, the Zionist regime was advancing its project of genocide in Gaza and the West Bank, while simultaneously revealing its ambitions toward the territories of Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and even a significant part of Saudi Arabia.”
Baqaei added:
“This clearly shows that the Zionist regime is an existential threat to the security and stability of the region and its countries. Therefore, it can be said that all regional countries have become more alert than before to the continuation of this regime’s expansionism; because if this expansionism is not contained, without a doubt our region will face endless wars.”
