According to a statement from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty, held a phone conversation with Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araqchi, and Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The discussion focused on Egypt’s efforts to reduce regional tensions, resume cooperation between Iran and the IAEA, and support the return of Iran to nuclear negotiations in order to advance political and diplomatic processes.
