Two Powerful Supplications for Rapid Relief and Success in Your Job!

“O Lord, send blessings on Muhammad and his family, and grant me an opening and a way of deliverance in my affairs; provide for me from the directions I expect and from those I do not expect, for indeed You give provision to whom You will without reckoning.”

A grand and quickly-answered supplication for opening one’s affairs

English rendering (translation):
“O God! I have obeyed You in the most beloved of things to You — which is the affirmation of Your oneness — and I have not disobeyed You in the most hateful of things to You — which is disbelief. So forgive me for the sins that lie between them. O You to whom my refuge turns, protect me from what I have feared and fled from to You. O God! Forgive me of my many disobediences and accept from me the little of my obedience. O my provision, beyond all provisions; O my hope and my reliance, O my refuge and support; O One, O Unique, O He who said, ‘Say: He is God, the One; God, the Self-Sufficient. He neither begets nor is begotten, and there is none comparable to Him.’”

And then continue with the quickly-answered prayer for opening one’s affairs, saying:

English rendering (translation):
“I ask You by the right of those whom You have chosen from among Your creation and whom You did not make like any other in Your creation, that You send blessings upon Muhammad and his family and do for me what You are worthy of doing. O God! I ask You by the great unity, by the radiant Muhammadan rank, and by the supreme Alawi station, and by all that You have made a proof against Your servants, and by the Name which You have concealed from Your creation so that it issues from You only unto You — send blessings on Muhammad and his family, and make for me in my affairs a relief and a way out; provide for me from where I expect and from where I do not expect. Indeed, You give provision to whom You will without account.”

Another prayer for opening affairs

Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) in Supplication 54 of the Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya says that whenever sorrow and worldly distress befall you, call on God like this:

English rendering (translation):
“O Reliever of anxiety and Remover of sorrow, O Most Merciful in this world and the next and the Mercy of both, send blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad and relieve my distress and remove my sorrow. O One, O Unique, O Samed (the Self-Sufficient), O He who neither begets nor is begotten and who has no equal — protect me, purify me, and remove my affliction.”

After that read Ayat al-Kursi (Qur’an 2:255) and the surahs al-Falaq, an-Nas, and al-Ikhlas, and say:

“O my God, like one whose need has reached its limit and finds no rescuer, whose strength is weakened and who has no helper, and whose sins are many and who has no forgiver... return my soul to me at that moment so that I stand firm in faith, and sever my ties of need to this world and direct my desire and dependence to what is with You... O God, place my inclination and need for petitioning only toward You, in such a way that I ask of You as Your friends ask and fear what they fear... ”
