SAEDNEWS: The busiest wedding of recent years took place in Turkey’s southern province of Urfa.
According to Saed News’ social affairs report, citing Al-Ain, a spectacular wedding was held for Orhan Ormak, son of renowned businessman Mohamed Ormak, and his Turkish wife, Borchu Ozdekir, the daughter of a wealthy businessman.
At the ceremony, the bride received a cash gift of 6 million Turkish lira and 8 kilograms of gold.
The Turkish bride made headlines for wearing 8 kilograms of gold and jewelry on her wedding day.
The wedding, held in the Urfa province of Turkey, saw the bride adorned with a large number of bracelets, bangles, earrings, necklaces, and gold coins on her hands, neck, and dress, all bearing the Ozdekir name. She also wore a gold belt around her waist, making it difficult for her to move due to the weight of the jewelry.
The jewelry, reportedly weighing around 8 kilograms, was a gift from the groom, who comes from a wealthy family.
