Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian left Islamabad for Tehran after completing his two-day official visit to Pakistan and meeting with the leaders and senior officials of the neighboring country.
According to Saednews, on Sunday night, Masoud Pezeshkian, accompanied by Pakistan's Information Minister and Iran's ambassador to Islamabad, left the capital of the neighboring country for the Islamic homeland.
During his two-day official visit, President Pezeshkian, in addition to paying homage to the distinguished position of Allama Muhammad Iqbal Lahori, a Pakistani Persian-speaking poet, in Lahore, the capital of Punjab province, was officially welcomed by Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
After meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Pezeshkian also attended a major Iran-Pakistan trade and economic conference.
Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, in a meeting with his Iranian counterpart, strongly condemned Israel's unjustified aggression against Iran and praised the courage and unity of the Iranian nation during the recent 12-day war.
Other Pakistani officials also congratulated the Iranian government and people on Iran's victory in the unjustified war that the Israeli regime launched against Iran.
