SAEDNEWS: The foreign minister of Iran called for immediate efforts by the Islamic countries to assist the people of Gaza who are buckling under the Israeli crimes.
In a meeting with his Tajik counterpart in Dushanbe on Wednesday, Abbas Araqchi praised Tajikistan for condemning the Zionist regime’s recent military aggression against Iran.
He also warned about the dire consequences of the Israeli regime’s constant law-breaking, particularly the massacre of Palestinians and attacks on the other countries.
Araqchi stressed the need for immediate and effective action by the international community and the Muslim countries to help the defenseless people of Gaza and stop the Zionist regime’s atrocities.
For his part, Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin expressed his country’s readiness to strengthen and enhance relations with Iran.
The two ministers also discussed the latest developments in the West Asia and Afghanistan, and weighed plans for the expansion of political, economic, cultural, scientific and trade relations between Iran and Tajikistan.
They further called for closer coordination and cooperation between the two countries at the United Nations and the other international organizations in order to fulfill the mutual interests.
