SAEDNEWS: Iran’s Foreign Ministry official said that the recent aggression of the United States and the Israeli regime against the Iranian nation puts the last nail in the coffin of American human rights.
Vahid Jalalzadeh, Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular, Parliamentary, and Iranian Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, highlighted the ongoing human rights violations by Western powers, particularly the United States. He emphasized that the recent aggression by the United States and the Israeli regime against the Iranian nation marks the last nail in the coffin of American human rights.
Speaking at a seminar titled “U.S. Human Rights from Victims’ Perspective,” Jalalzadeh noted that there is not a single thinker, author, or journalist in today’s world who is unaware of the double standards of the United States and its allies regarding human rights.
The Israeli regime has attacked hospitals in Iran and Gaza, the official said, adding that there is nothing left of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights that has not been violated by the United States or the Israeli regime so far.
He called for the establishment of Western and U.S. human rights departments at universities and think tanks to address this issue.
According to the diplomat, Iranians and many other nations are victims of the so-called American human rights; however, due to the U.S. media empire, it is the victims who must answer for the allegations of human rights violations.
The Institute for Political and International Studies, affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, hosted the seminar “U.S. Human Rights from Victims’ Perspective” in Tehran on Wednesday.
