Naghdali: Promoting Slogans that Cause Division Is Prohibited

According to Saednews, Mohammad Taghi Naghdali, emphasized the importance of preserving national unity in the current situation of the country. He stated: “God has shown grace to the Iranian nation, and the arrogant powers’ conspiracy to attack and undermine Iran failed. Their plan was to create chaos within the country and then follow it with a military assault to complete their scheme, but the exact opposite happened—unity among the Iranian people only grew stronger.”

He stressed that “maintaining unity around the leadership and the slogan of resistance is truly essential today,” adding: “Promoting any slogan that causes hopelessness among the people or making statements in international forums and diplomatic interactions that undermine the sense of strength and dignity or cause division is prohibited. While it’s necessary to have clear national strategies for domestic and foreign affairs, any sign of weakness leads to division.”

Naghdali also proposed ways to sustain and strengthen national unity and prevent long-term infiltration or divisive actions by enemies, saying: “The greatest threat to public unity can result from carelessness by officials. Any deviation by an official from fundamental principles or statements that create doubt or confusion in people’s minds can lead to societal division. Therefore, the best way to preserve unity is for officials—whether in public statements, diplomatic interactions, or on social media—to strictly adhere to the core principles of the Islamic Revolution and the interests of the people. Any remarks in the media that cannot be accepted by the revolutionary and faithful community are invalid and forbidden.”

Regarding the role of political and cultural elites in reinforcing national unity, he said: “Media outlets must avoid fueling division, discord, or spreading rumors. They should refrain from amplifying baseless news—especially the recent lies spread by the criminal Trump and the Zionist regime, who are trying to cover themselves with false narratives. Media should be cautious not to unintentionally strengthen the enemy or cause disunity by giving weight to such falsehoods.”

In conclusion, Naghdali urged the media to focus more on highlighting the immense strength and dignity that Islamic Iran has achieved today.
